In today's Tech Tuesday, members of the DEI Committee and the DLA discussed converging issues of technology, diversity, equity, identity, and access.

Kerri Hauman and Leslie Ribovich discussed the importance of sharing Open Educational Resources and public primary research with our students. Julie Perino discussed Universal Design for Learning, accessibility technologies and how difficult they are to find and purchase without institution-wide financial support. We also discussed the ramifications of the digital divide, considering questions of students' digital literacies and fluencies and the potential consequences of assuming students' know as much about technology as we do.
