In today's Tech Tuesday, Dr. Emily Goodman walked us through the process of creating a multimodal project for students to complete in her Art History class. Dr. Goodman discussed using learning goals to map out the kind of project she wanted to create and her pedagogical reasoning for moving from tests in survey courses to creative projects. 

Using the New York Times' "Close Read" series as an example, Dr. Goodman looked for  a platform that would allow students to annotate (through text, sound, and images) a specific piece of art to create their interactive narratives. 

After consulting with our former ed tech librarian, Beth Carpenter, and current DCTIS, Julie Perino, Dr. Goodman decided to use ThingLink to have students create their interactive narratives.
